A great tutorial Tom!! I think Pilates Anytime can see me in my studio because you are forever putting out videos that my body really needs. Thank you 🙏
Karen M , thank you so much!! I got the memo and I’m happy to be of service!🙏

Great video! Would this work sat on a mat with bent legs as well? I don't have chairs available.
Claire T, thank you for your message.  You could do it on the floor and the angle of the hips is going to be a bit more challenging for some of your students. You  could consider using yoga blocks to elevate the pelvis and also for the hands in the lunging movements. Let me know how it goes and all the best to you!
Many thanks Tom. I do 'sit to stand' with my older clients nearly every week, but I like the prep with the towel here to help ground the pelvis and sits bones. I usually teach feet wider for a wider base of support, but presumably we can work toward parallel feet as more of a challenge....
Sarah Edwards at Positive Pilates Solihull, You're very welcome! It's good to hear you appreciate the prep and I appreciate you going wider with the feet and changing it up at times is good also! Warm regards,
Tom

Thank you Tom, I really enjoy your teaching because you of the manner in which you add technical and anatomical to functional movement.

PS: Any tips on how to support a person from getting up and down off the floor from side sitting?
Love the embedded anatomy lessons.
