It feels great in my legs Amy! I'm going to do this for a week as a warm up :) I also notice that I need to work on my strength (51) Amy, can you make another class for arms/shoulder like this one? :)
Thank you Amy. Your sequence was just what I needed. Your excellent cueing was so helpful. I'm recovering from 2 months of inactivity due to illness. While everything is stiff, my ankles have been painful. I'm feeling a wonderful energetic release throughout my body but especially all my joints from my hips down. My ankles are giving you a special thank you. And you are so darling! With you honesty and openness to your own experience.
LOVED this Amy! Foot focus was great, we so need reminding of the importance of foot mobility/agility as we age! And the ankle-knee-hip chain...brilliantly demonstrated in so many ways, and with genuine enthusiasm..inspiring as ever.
SaraChanda HinmanSofie van der SommenMolly MAnne L thank you all so much for this positive feedback and for seeing my and my attention to detail, it matters!!! I hope some of the smaller elements lead to great accomplishments!
Julie V I'm a teacher who prides herself on providing ample detail and clarity and that's not ever going to change! I appreciate you taking the time time leave this feedback for me.
I think the talking was really helpful especially if you are a teacher, it's great to know what's going on behind just doing the exercises. I was wondering about clients who struggle to hold themselves upright in any sort of plie, or hip/knee bend, any advice there Amy? thanks so much, love your classes!
Jenny N for someone to hold themselves upright in a plie, for example, it requires a decent amount of ankle mobility, knees and hips too. If someone starts to pitch forward instead of staying vertical, it could be coming from their ankles. Try increasing dorsiflexion skills for them - along with knee flexion and hip glide too.
