For wrist issues: - If you are on a squishy mat, you can try bringing your hands off of the mat onto the floor. Spread your fingers wide and press actively into your index fingers and thumbs, energetically "cupping" the floor instead of sagging into the joints. - If you are on a squishy mat, you can try bringing your hands into fists. That removes any bend in your wrists and takes your wrist out of extension/hyperextension. - If you have hand weights available (and they don't roll), you can hold onto the hand weight to take your wrist out of extension/hyperextension. - If those don't work, you can drop down to your forearms for the glute/hip work. Just make sure you don't lift your leg too high as it's easier for it to go into your back from this position.
Hope one of those helps! Glad you liked the class!
