Hani Maizlik Hunch, that is a tough question to answer other than by saying it depends. Meri and I designed this class for those with a high intermediate level of skill who are willing to play outside the box (or in this case on the box). Depending on the stage of pregnancy someone is in would help determine whether or not I would do this class or not. In the first trimester, the experienced pregnant (healthy and cleared) client could probably do much of this class. After that, I'd start to feel uncomfortable giving most of the exercises to a pregnant woman. The second part of your question is also "it depends."
i just love this! Loving the energy you two create together…love how you got creative on the reformer with some traditional mat moves. Most of all, loving that there is actually someone out there who struggles with counting reps as much as do…thanks Meredith
Yeah you two should have a podcast. That class was perfect and challenging and gave me so much to think about and play with and question. Nothing but love from BASI VIRGINIA, come visit us!
This was a fun video. I like the chemistry between you two. I will say, I found myself in a "oh, no" position with the pull ups. The part where Kristi said she got a really good neck and back crack. After pulling myself forward, I wasn't sure what to do with my neck and shoulders. I just paused and immediately replied upon my pilates training of the past 4 years. I have done these pull ups, but always from the box. From the position featured in the video, I found it difficulty with out having cues as how to fix your shoulders, lower your head or length through your head, etc. I have been enjoying your pilate videos for more than a year, since my private pilates teacher decided she rather live in Belize than California. Keep up the good work.
