A few things I love about this class, besides your fabulous unitard, include the repeated order of parallel, internal and external rotation while adding adduction and flexion specifically in the single foot and leg work continuing to the both legs sequencing, and in the well work. The in the well starting flat back and finishing with undulation of the spine felt great as well. This repeated order is such a treat on so many levels! The connection to each finger reaching for straight and bent arm work to connect to the "wings" in all positions is interesting to me, as well as the kneeling work on the floor to start the sequence out. Any continued suggestions on classes are SO greatly welcomed! Thank you again!!!!
Thank you so much Clare Y for your detailed appreciation of this Reformer class! I'm delighted that the movements intrigue and please you. The sequences are based on my study of the architecture of the fascia system, embryological development, and principles of applied biotensegrity. Chapter 6 of my book, Fascia in Motion (Handspring 2017), is titled Fascia-focused Reformer. You'll find related sequences there. Ten years ago I recorded class 2098 on Pilates Anytime. That class explores a variety of joint and fascia angles with respect to the Reformer. Please let me know if this class is aligned with your preferences. Warmest wishes, Elizabeth
