Thanks so much, Meredith Rogers! Do you have any suggestions for that lovely supine upper back stretch when is working on an Allegro 1 reformer? The frame is made of metal and I found gripping the frame a bit tricky, even though I loved how the exercise felt. Thanks again.

Soooo good. Always love your calm, steady, and kind energy.
Beautiful short exploration of Thoracic Extension and Flexion LOVE!!!
Taryn Upchurch hiiiii!
Hope you are well.

I can’t think of anything that is exactly the same. You could put stickies on the reformer to anchor the hands?
Or, just hold on to the pegs where the straps live and focus on very wide elbows. Or hold your arms in a T position or goalpost position biasing towards external rotation.
Those are my best ideas…let me know how you go!💛

Fabulous class, thank so much Meredith. I thoroughly enjoy all your classes which make my body feel stretched out and so relaxed!
Loved it thanks Meredith

Thanks @Meredith Rogers! I will try your suggestion with the poles (and focus on the wide position of the elbows) and see how that goes.
Taryn Upchurch how did it work out for you??

Great class as always - thanks Meredith! The depth of the work in your classes is truly fascinating!

Meredith Rogers Thank you for following up! Regarding using the poles (rather than holding onto the frame) for the upper back stretch on the Allegro 1 reformer, it didn't quite work. Since the poles are attached to the carriage I could not do the stretch unless I held on to the metal frame (so that is what I did to the best of my ability). Thanks again!
