Hi Lesley, I am doing your "Making connections -Playlist 1-Course" (Pilates Anytime) at the moment and I was curious how this tower course may support the "Thass Connection". It is a perfect additional class, teaching me a lot about my body! Thank you!!!
Hi Leslie, Great class! For those of us at home (with the nearest Pilates studio over a hundred miles away) could you please make note of the spring color and placement during the class?
SUSAN P wow check you out having your own practice! I love that!! So, I don't personally use springs that have color/weighted options. And, with so many brands sometimes different colors mean different things. But, hopefully this helps you and others jumping in here.
Leg Springs, these are a heavy but doable spring. If using balanced body equipment their purple springs are great!
Arm Springs, personally short yellows are a bit light. BB makes a grey spring that I love which is heavier than a yellow but not as much as a red.
For the push thru bar I like 1 red spring
For roll back bar short yellows or if you have them the grey springs.
Carla glad you liked it! For any of my tower classes you can skip anything overhead and repeat something we did already. That way you have something until I can get more on here xx
Loved watching and listening to the class, looking forward to putting it into practice. Do you ever do your standing arm springs on the mat, or do you always teach it off the back?
Jess O great question, depending on the tower/reformer combo some can stand. I'm quite tall and sometimes the hook position isn't ideal for me. Also, if I think people might have questionable balance I prefer teaching off the back. Since I can't see people at home... off the back is a good option x
