Hi Kathy...that's a great question and my simplest answer is... be patient! The stronger your deeper abdominals and back muscles get, the less the hip flexors will want to take over. But remember, we need those hip flexors to be strong too....they help in Teaser!
Amy Havens Not sure what I did wrong but the opposite hip to the one with the leg crossed over started really gripping after the first few moves. Is the hip flexor too weak and getting tired? I have very stiff hips and I am always using the foam roller and other stretches to try and release them.
