Prenatal Mat Series - You will release tension in your body in this Prenatal Mat workout with Leah Stewart. Using only seated and kneeling positions, she focuses on mobilizing the rib cage, spine, and pelvis. You will enter the session with breathing exercises while finding the connection of the two hearts beating, then you will go into movements that are free and feel good on the body.
Prenatal Mat Series - In this Prenatal workout, Leah experiments with doing most of the workout lying on your side because it is a safe position during pregnancy. She plays with articulating the pelvic floor, strengthening the obliques and hips, and gentle rotation while on your side. Leah also adds a few exercises in seated and kneeling positions like variations on the Hundred and Rolling like a Ball.
Prenatal Mat Series - Leah teaches a Prenatal Mat workout with a focus on finding acceptance of the changes you are going through by moving through space. You will mobilize the body while practicing control. Leah adds a series challenging leg work and balances, and then goes into movements where you can feel free.

Postnatal Mat Workout - After having her son, Bennett, Leah Stewart is back to teach a Postnatal Mat workout. This gentle class is designed to get you reconnected to your body before you return to the Pilates work. It is a great chance for you to take a moment in between the demands of motherhood to focus on yourself and find the duality of energy and relaxation in your breathing. You will feel lighter and more open after this class.
Postnatal Mat Workout - In this second Postnatal Mat workout, Leah starts to work on posture and gentle abdominal activation. In the first few months, it is important to work on postural deviations that occur from nursing, cradling, etc. These simple exercises that Leah shows will make you feel vibrant and give you energy to give to your children.
