I consider myself to be fairly strong because I've been very athletic my whole life. My mom had these exercise DVDs that she'd done. And I thought it was something kind of funny, like I didn't know what it was. And then I was like, kind of frustrated because I couldn't do it. Why can my mom do all these things that I can't do?
Eventually, I think she convinced me by telling me that David Beckham does it. And being like the big soccer player. And I love David Beckham. It was like, OK. If he can be that strong and have that body with Pilates, maybe I'll try.
You seem taller. Your posture is so good. My mother, of course, likes that because it was always, Haille, stand up straight. Haille, stand up straight. Your posture is not good.
And it's still probably not good enough but it's getting there and it's something that I can take pride in. The areas where we're weakest is where there's the most opportunity to grow. And Pilates really helps me access those areas. I love my body. I do.
