Hi Leah,
I'm a bit late to the party in viewing this class, but I feel great after this session. I'm looking forward to checking out the prenatal series :)
Thanks,
Kerry
Hi Leah!
I'm almost 4 months postpartum and I feel ready to ease into some regular level 1 classes. Any exercises I should avoid?
Thanks!!
I wish i had the excuse of being pregnant for finding this class challenging !! My pregnant ladies are going to love this. Thanks Leah :)
Kerry - I'm so happy that you enjoyed this class!

Glorimar - Four (five months now) months postpartum is still quite early. I would still recommend that you avoid traditional Pilates abdominal exercises along with challenging planks and pulling against heavy resistance - your abdominals and pelvic floor are still in a very sensitive healing time and I'd hate for you to do too much too soon and potentially cause a problem that may not have been. Even if you are feeling great, take it slow and enjoy the modifications. My postnatal classes have a lot of great modifications, and if you'd like, you can still enjoy the prenatal classes as well.

Anne,

This class is one of my more challenging pre-natal classes. Remember the modifications and exercises are safe for those women in their 1st and early 2nd trimesters. These exercises are not late 2nd and 3rd trimester appropriate.

I hope your clients enjoy!!
I chose this class as I am 8 weeks post total abdominal hysterectomy. Last week I did a normal pilates class which I felt was too much, This one seemed gentler for me and slightly shorter and focussed on a different part of the abdominal muscles which was better for me.
Leah, can you recommend any particular pilates classes given that I have had a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy? I have had an excellent recovery and I am walking, cycling and swimming very comfortably, however have very weak core muscles and would like to more pilates to strengthen the core and back. Thx
Hi Leah, I'm fifteen weeks PP and have been enjoying your post natal series but watched this class today as a different challenge. I immediately noticed which exercises my TA and pelvic muscles weren't quite up for, but was able to do most of the class comfortably. I noticed on the pelvic curls I am struggling to stay stable....any suggestions on strengthening or will this just take time? Thanks!
I'm 5 weeks post op from abdominal hysterectomy keeping partial cervix and found this video very helpful to begin reconnecting with my abdominal rebuild! Thanks so much!
You are so good at prenatal classes its mind boggling! Creative too! I have a preggy client at the moment that thinks im so awesome because I always refer back to your great preggy series :) THANKS!
