I LOVE this! He's awesome! Julian can explain in a precise manner how to perform the movements AS they are being performed by the students. The HARDEST rolling like a ball movement I've ever seen is when the elbows remain stationery on the knees with the hands facing upwards towards the ceiling. Nearly impossible to do.
Wonderful thankyou Julian! My background is Classical, this was a fabulous new challenge for me and those single leg bridge circles and side plank circles - wowza! You have shown me many weaknesses today :-}
For those that don't know, Jennifer and Miriam are referring to the very sad news that our dear Julian passed away last Saturday, Aug 31, 2013. Julian had been valiantly living and teaching with adenocarcinoma since being diagnosed with it a little over 2 years ago. Julian was the first distinguished instructor other than my first teacher Kathy Corey to accept an invitation to PA without knowing me personally. His faith in my word and my expressed intention is something that propelled me and this website forward providing the much needed validation I longed for. Julian went on to be a great friend to me in many other ways in the last three years. Our time with him was too short, but it is because of him and his generosity that his work lives on here on Pilates Anytime. Thank you Julian.
