Thanks for the detailed response Meredith! :) Is it possible that not everyone needs to adjust the placement of the supporting hand for the shoulder push and back extension? Is it a matter of flexibility?
I’m asking because when I did the exercise, I felt like my arms were aligned with my shoulders as I went into the rotation. I placed my supporting hand in line with my shoulder in the setup. But maybe I just wasn’t fully aware of my alignment. 🙈
Adar G anything is possible which is why I mentioned body dimension dependent. It is worth trying again to check your alignment. It’s difficult for me to say for sure without seeing you but if you feel you are in the right placement and the movement feels good and safe in your body then I imagine you can just enjoy.
