Cindy K thank you so much! The single legged tendon stretch is definitely a challenge, even for me after all these years! The back walkover is a different type of challenge and I find it fun, plus you’re left with a very gratifying sense of accomplishment afterwards :)
Elizabeth E thank you for your thoughtful comment and compliment! My passion lies in working with students and clients in person where I can use both verbal and tactile cues to help them achieve mind body connection and their own precise movement. When I am filming classes and demonstrating myself I try my best to cue what I most often see from clients in real life after 20 years of experience. I find that certain individuals respond to certain cues while others will hear something completely different. The more I can explain the body alignment, muscle engagement, direction of movement and continually layer on cues, the more students are able to achieve proper form and benefit the most from their practice.
I absolutely love your cues and the flow. I don't think everyone realizes how hard it is to effectively cue and I think you nailed it. I took notes too Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
