Carolina ~ The video is working fine from our end. I would try refreshing the page and then fast-forwarding to the point where the video stopped for you. Or restarting your computer might help because you might have too many programs running. I hope that helps!
I chose this class as my Thanksgiving morning workout and it did not let me down. I really appreciated the alternative order of the exercises--particularly breaking up the extension work and adding in front support and downward dog. Your cuing was clear and helpful Amy and I really appreciated the fact that you were working through the exercises with us.
Two questions: Did you mean to omit the raised leg beats on the second side of the side kicks? Why emphasize the pull in of the leg in shoulder bridge after hip circles and teaser--my hip flexors were killing me (which is a chronic issue, not your fault at all).
Gina, thank you for taking class with me on Thanksgiving morning and for such honest, clear feedback. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that.
To answer your questions.....regarding the omitting of the raised leg beats on the second side----it was not intentional, but I did watch and see that I left them out. I was most likely caught in the moment...and those slipped by. Apologies and I hope you did them to even yourself out! And regarding the pull of the front leg in Shoulder Bridge after Hip Circles and Teaser, again, most likely a choreographic moment rather than following the traditional order. Sometimes being in the moment outweighs following the list exactly. :)
Britttany!!! So nice hearing from you girl and thanks for taking class with me! I miss you! Hope the studio is going well for you and all your students! Happy New Year!
This was my first Amy class... I have done level 2/3 classes before and they were just fine, but this one... it showed me how much I have to do yet. After a few exercises there was no way I could roll over, I had to push my hips backwards with my wrists... way to go for me! Thank you Amy
