Hi Trudie! The recommended inflation for the BOSU is no more than 11" high (the side of a sheet of paper) so perhaps check and see if it's a bit too high. You also might want to try moving forward on the dome a bit so that your belly isn't fully in the center and slightly pushing your pubic bone towards the dome to get your low abs fired up (not so much that you grip gluteals) to support you a bit more.
