Thank you, I like this clear explanation of the squat. I decided to look for more 'squatting' info after doing Phillip Beaches class. I also would be interested to know the difference between this squat with the tail curled under and the untucked version...was any explanation given??
Hi, I had seen this great special from squats that Amy Taylor Alpers did which is absolutely great. A few days ago I had a fracture on my fifth metatarsal, it is a stress fracture and the doctor was not specific about exercising. I do Pilates everyday and I wonder if squating is a good idea, I am trying to rest as much as I can but I would still like to move my body. I am wearing a shoe cast. Thanks for any advise you (Amy and PA) can provide me
