Hi Leah! Another great one. I taught your ab series (seated underneath the push-through bar, bent knee lifts/externally rotates). You demonstrated the series in a flexed lumbar spine, though I taught it in a straight spine--a seated hinge with the arms still poised forward--with the hope of engaging the psoas to benefit the posture of my pregnant ladies. What do you think of that approach? People seemed to like it, but I'd love to know from you! Thanks!!
Thanks Leah...I've taught clients your other prenatal classes (and loved those of course) and yet missed this one somehow. So excited I found it because it's challenging and yummy at the same time. Many thanks from me and my mom's to be. :)
This workout kicked my butt! That said, there were so many great hip openers and things I will use to just stretch on a daily basis. Thanks again for another challenging prenatal class, Leah.
Thankyou Leah. I love your videos. They help me bring variety into my prenatal classes and your cueing is so helpful. Pilates was never available to me when I had my children many years ago and just love being able to coach mamas-to-be on how to safely move their bodies in preparation for birth.
Hey Leah! I am not pregnant, but I have one client who is at 22 weeks, and I'm a little nervous to work with her. I pulled up your classes because I trust your prenatal work. Since this client will be in a. class with non-pregnant clients, I was concerned it might not be "enough" for them, but after studying the movements, I realized it's actually perfect for them! Most are older and need more opening and stretching anyway. I'm eager to try it out on them and get their feedback. And I'm looking forward to trying it out, myself!
I have used a few of your reformer prenatal workouts in the past and now excited to try this Cadillac one. I love your philosophy throughout the class, being a Mum too I can totally relate.
Leah, this is the second time I’ve done this one. I’m 30 weeks pregnant, felt a lot more challenging this time than only a few weeks ago, really feel the opening through my rib cage and love the challenge of the standing series. I can feel how powerful that is for the pelvic floor. I’m going to keep this up once a week until I’m due or can’t.
Really can’t thank you enough for all your lovely creative and thoughtful classes
Thanks very much!
