Brilliant class, Amy! What stood out for me with this class is how much I LOVE slowing the tempo so that I may "explore the rim of the exercise," & how there is "something nice about one!" Your cues & imagery are SPOT-ON, as always. You consistently provide the words for what I'm feeling in my body but can't articulate. The following ideas you presented in this class really resonated with me:

1) Let go of any imperfections; 2) Every movement matters; 3) It is fine to do what I need to do to make the exercise 'mine' today for MY body; 4) That's what Pilates is - I listen to what I need (thank you for the permission, BTW); 5) Be in the moment - try not to compare to other classes I've done; 6) Movement is a wonderful meditation & a "constant never ending sequence that can be threaded together."

I have done 1 rep of the classic mat before with my classes and it's amazing how good it makes you feel. Very intentioned, yet relaxed yet full of energy. Good for the brain too! Thank you Amy for class 7 - my favourite so far.

I'm a little later than expected in joining in for the summer challenge, but I'm so glad I got there, I have loved each one of them so far but this one is just beautiful. Exactly what I needed this morning. Thank you Amy x

Also did class 6 into 7 and loved the slow meditative quality that allowed me to go deeper with breath to carve out each exercise after the cardio push. A great contrast and challenge. Always a pleasure, Amy.

This class! What I learned today is...there are some exercises where I 'cheat' and there are some exercises which I thought were beyond my ability are not (side bends - yay). The experimental nature of the class fills me with joy. Thanks, Amy.
