I am new to those site as I usually work with KTB Pilates in bexley, UK. But on vacation I needed to keep up with my spinal work to not fall backwards in my physical therapy Pilates. I found Brent's classes to be just the right thing, and if the advanced moves were too hard, I found holding a position instead of raising my legs very useful. And the work on sciatica nerve much better than at my physio class. Thank you! Great workout, I feel fantastic in just one lesson and I will be doing much more with him.
I don´t see the point of seeing 5 people doing the exercise, from far, when it would be much useful, to me, to see only one person, very close, on a table, with the teacher showing closely every movement.
And I would add that the person who should make the exercise on a table, it would be someone who knows exactly how to make it, cause I prefer to see someone who makes perfectly the exercise and to learn from that, instead of seeing someone who is learning and making mistakes. Sorry but this is the way I see this. Thank you.
Debora Resnik, thank you for this feedback. I often feel the same, but many people prefer the more nuanced teaching that occurs when someone is in the process of learning rather than performing. I know we have some videos that meet your request, but I'm realizing we don't have a way to easily discover those. Again, I thank you for the feedback. You've got me thinking about how I can try and highlight the different kinds of classes so you can find them easily. hmm...
Thank you, Kristi. Yes, I prefer one teacher and one person on a table, showing exactly the way the exercise must be performed. Also a second camera can show angles that we can´t see from here. I´m new in this site, learning how to make the most of it. I have a herniated disc in my lumbar spine, very painful, so if you could recommend me some videos here, I would appreciate that so much.... Thank You!!
Had the chance to listen and take Brent's classes at Tokyo Pilates Medical world. Articulate, well versed and with a thorough understanding of his field and passion- so glad to find this video here!.
