Pilates teaches you how to move well. Strength training increases what your body can handle.
In Sculpted Strength, our first Reformer challenge with Courtney Miller, and our very first structured 6-week challenge, we’re inviting you into a different kind of practice: one that blends Pilates precision with progressive strength training. By combining Reformer work with strength circuits and built-in repetition, this program helps you build strength that carries beyond the workout: the kind of movement that helps you lift a heavy suitcase into an overhead bin, carry one-sided bags or a backpack longer without your shoulders and low back taking over, and stay steady on tired legs whether you’re on stairs, trails, or a long day on your feet.
This challenge is about helping you feel a real difference in your body through enhanced movement quality, core-driven control, consistency, thoughtful progression, and strength-building work.
Pilates gives you awareness. It teaches you to organize your body, initiate from your center, and move with control and precision. It's a great foundation for any kind of training.
Strength training expands your capacity for movement by building power, bone density, and load tolerance.
Together, they create a kind of strength that feels both powerful and supported. Your form improves. Your coordination sharpens. Your mobility stays part of the process. You're not just lifting heavier, you're lifting smarter.
In this challenge, Courtney moves seamlessly between well-known Reformer exercises and strength circuits using 5- and 12-pound weights. The transitions are intentional, with layering that helps you recognize patterns in your body, refine your form, and build confidence over time.
This is the first time we've created a challenge like this. Six classes. Six weeks. Each class is designed to be repeated two to three times per week before you move on to the next class.
Consistency is the hardest part of any practice. We wanted to create something structured enough that you can feel progress, while still feeling dynamic - classes you'll want to return to again and again.
Each class follows a circuit format with three Reformer exercises and three strength-training circuits. The strength circuits repeat within the class, giving you time to refine your technique, build endurance, and feel more confident in the movements.
With Courtney's guidance, you'll choose the amount of weight that feels right for you. As your strength and confidence build, you can increase the challenge.
We have put a tremendous amount of care into building this program methodically. The strength work is layered with intention to help you build:
Courtney’s background in both Pilates and strength training allows her to guide you through intensity at a pace that feels empowering. She cues clearly, creates a safe setup to rely on, and encourages you to listen to your body. She meets you where you are.
Whether you’ve never combined weights with Reformer work or you’re already lifting outside the studio, this program is designed to support you.
If you commit to the structure, here's what we hope you'll notice:
And maybe most importantly, you feel accomplished and proud that you created a consistent movement practice that you can carry forward.
Sculpted Strength blends what you already love about Pilates with the added challenge of strength training. It's energizing, structured, and designed to help you succeed.
If you're ready to commit to six weeks and see what consistency can do, we'll meet you on the Reformer.
