Hi Jon, I think you may be the first person to actually try this class ( per the comments posted ) Looking at your bio you are a really athlete so happy to know this was challenging for you.
Thank you for your post Nora, and of course you are soon correct, this is an advanced workout and Micah is a high level practitioner ( does pilates at least 3 times a week, so he is in professional type training). It is good to get exposure to the level Pilates training can address - so both professional athletes and injured or very weak elderly can all benefit from this training at their own level. I love your studio able - if it's easy, it is probably NOT pilates! good for you - I wish you much success in Budapest, how exciting to have a studio in Hungary.
very great exercise. I used to do level 2 only but today exercise was almost challenging.I am feeling very flexible and I will be back to do it again. thanks a lot :) Niedra
This was very interesting but it annoyed me to have to follow it because it moved too fast and didn't do a lot of reps sometimes and I was struggling to watch on my phone and then do it (I understand it's pilates policy to not do too many reps but when you're trying to understand something new you want to watch it twice and that only leaves you once to try it before it moves on) just a little feedback on this end -
Thank you Elizabeth for your comment. I totally understand your frustration. This video was an example of the advanced work for men, where the student is already familiar with the routines and the sequencing. You commented about low reps: in an advanced workout we often decrease the number of repetitions done so the student gets to do more variety of material, and the assumption is that the student already knows how to do the exercises.
I hope you got something out of the workout and thank you again for posting your comments. I always appreciate feed back.
