Hi Ruth please do use my quote! I use many of those techniques with clients on a daily basis now, the foam roller is always in the back of my car, funnily enough, for myself as much as anyone else. Particularly for neck, shoulders and tight tight thoracic spines. It breathes life into any Pilates post the roller-it's all that lovely fascia and muscle being hydrated and moved. I think the relaxing/Yin/somatic nature of your class has a huge part to play too - please do another on PA. I'm based in beautiful Wicklow in Ireland so it'll be a while before I make it to your studio :)
Kim Wyatt: guess what. Your comment about doing a restorative tower/reformer class intrigued me enough that I've worked up something for the cadillac. We're filming it this Friday, so look for it in a couple of months. And thanks for that comment, I took it seriously!!!
This is the most amazing class. My lower back starts about 3 inches off the the roller and in about 20 min I'm flat against it. I feel like a million dollars when I'm through with this class.
