After completing the comprehensive Advanced Teacher Training Program at The Pilates Center
in Boulder, Colorado in 1997, Maria Earle studied with and was mentored by Master Teacher Kathleen Stanford Grant
over the course of thirteen years.
Maria received her BA and MA in Women's History from Sarah Lawrence College. She founded and co-owed Pilates East in New York City from 2001–2009. In addition, she taught for Body Precision's Teacher Training program (1999-2001) and held a guest faculty position at New York University's Tisch School of The Arts, where she taught under the supervision of Ms. Grant (2006-2007). Maria has presented workshops in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, and Switzerland.
Maria is a Pilates Method Alliance Certified Pilates Teacher (CPT). She mentors teachers and travels internationally to teach continuing education courses to Pilates professionals. Maria has presented workshops for Pilates Method Alliance, Balanced Body's Pilates On Tour and Body Control Pilates (UK).
A Second Generation Master Teacher with over 20 years of international teaching experience, Maria is dedicated to honoring and empowering your journey toward personal growth and well-being; she will facilitate ease, confidence and inspire a sense of possibility in your movement practice. For the past 10 years, Maria has called Barcelona, Spain home. She loves cooking, making stuff, being outdoors with her family and travel.
