Hallee has been teaching the Pilates method since 2001. After her first Mat class, she instantly became hooked, and just as Joseph Pilates guaranteed,
saw changes in her body in just ten private sessions. She was driven to learn more and quickly became inspired to teach others to better understand their body’s boundaries and intensify their workouts while staying pain-free. Certified by Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates’ protégé, Hallee continues her education by taking numerous courses taught by industry leaders.
Hallee is also an advanced MELT instructor and co-creator of MELTed Pilates: a revolutionary approach that focuses on rebalancing the nervous system and hydrating connective tissue, resulting in a greater overall performance of the body. Hallee has presented curriculum at the annual Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) Conference, Balanced Body’s Pilates on Tour (POT), and is thrilled to be included on Pilates Anytime.
Hallee graduated summa cum laude from Emory University and authored her first Psychological research study in 1999. In 2003 she earned a Master’s degree in Dance Education from New York University. She opened The Center Studio in 2005 and relocated and rebranded to Candlestick Pilates in 2019. She currently lives in Westport, CT with her husband, two daughters, and dog, Kona.
