With over 30 years of Pilates and Movement expertise, Sally Anderson is Founder of the Pilates International
Organization, developed Australia’s first
Pilates training courses, and led these courses to articulate to Health Science Bachelor degrees. She was founding President of Industry Association for the Pilates Alliance Australasia, and Co-Founded the first Australian Industry Biannual Conference. Sally has delivered instructor training around the world for Pilates International Training Centre (PilatesITC) and prior to that for Body Arts & Science. Sally initially trained under Rael Isacowitz in the 1980’s and was on faculty for BASI® for over ten years.
Sally has presented for PMA® Annual Meetings and delivered education in all continents of the world. She has been featured in Pilates Style and many other magazines as well as ongoing contributor roles for major publications and online sites. She continues to consult widely on the future development of the Pilates Industry in Australia and the pathway to future recognition.
