Dr. Julia Shmurak
Dr. Julia Shmurak, DPT, NCPT, is a 3rd-Generation Master Pilates Teacher and Doctor of Physical Therapy. A University of Miami graduate, she earned her Rehabilitation Pilates certification from Polestar Pilates in 2012. She founded Pandora Pilates Physical Therapy in Miami in 2013, which is now based in Coral Gables.
Dr. Julia specializes in Pilates-based rehabilitation, Mat, Reformer, and full classical apparatus—Tower, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels—with expertise in postural correction, pre- and postnatal Pilates, sports injury recovery, chronic pain management, and functional movement training.
She is also the lead educator of the Pandora Pilates Movement Academy, offering PMA ITTAP-accredited teacher training and 1:1 mentorship for instructors and physical therapists.
Her approach blends clinical precision with deep attentiveness to each individual's body, goals, and history, whether you're recovering from injury, pursuing peak performance, or building a teaching career.
