This was amazing. After a hamstring injury 4 years ago I have not been able to straighten my legs fully in many pilates positions. I have tried rolling them out in the past but I have never been able to get as deeply into them as I can now. This challenge is AMAZING. I am so excited to see the transformation over the next few weeks.
Loving this Niedra. Is it ok to use a pilates overball between the legs for the standing section of day 1 (hamstrings session) if I don't have a bigger ball like yours?
I just finished this video followed by another workout video and then came back to read the comments here. As I am standing reading the comments I realized I felt a tingly open feeling at the top of my hamstrings! I know that’s the feeling of the release! Thank you! I did not have a Franklin ball but I used a small diameter playground ball (Mikasa) and it seemed to work well. I assume a tennis ball would just be too hard, correct?
Thank you Melanie and Jennifer for your comments, to answer both of you - yes, you can use other balls, even tennis balls ( for the smaller detail work) I like to encourage people to work with what they have - the work is less about the product and more about the concept . ofcourse some balls work better than others, but I hope no one is held back from applying this work due to lack of the materials. Glad you both enjoyed the benefits.
Wow! Incredible how the body can change in just 20 minutes. Your instructions are really clear and I could definitely feel a difference in my hamstrings, in my left side I'm much less flexible in general, but after this I could feel a nice relief and already I saw improvement! Thank you Niedra
Cool Alice , the changes keep reorganizing your body so you will have to figure out how to move and be in your new body - how wonderful is that? Enjoy the journey.
