Leah Stewart, M.S., has been teaching Pilates and Women's Health for 16 years. Leah's career
has included presenting and teaching Pilates training courses and workshops at studios and conferences internationally as well as
nationally from Costa Mesa to Italy to India to Japan. Leah is a former senior faculty for BASI Pilates® and has since created the LiveLife Pilates Academy where she has written and taught a number of Pilates training courses for Pilates professionals. Leah's LiveLife Pilates Academy focuses training Pilates
professionals about Women's Health and how to safely and creatively teach pre- and post-natal Pilates.
Leah has also produced a postnatal Pilates DVD, Pilates for New Mothers, which has been enjoyed by women all over the world, and her work has been featured on the popular Pilates website, Pilates Anytime. Leah owned and operated a Pilates studio, LiveLife Pilates, in Costa Mesa for 9 years before moving her business online.
In 2018, Leah created The LiveLife Movement; a movement community for women, where she shares practical and reliable information on how to obtain, maintain and wholeheartedly enjoy a natural lifestyle rooted in faith and movement. The LiveLife Movement offers online courses and programs, which includes Created to Move, a faith-based movement program in addition its annual event, The LiveLife Conference.
Leah holds a BFA in Dance from Chapman University and a MS in Human Movement from A.T. Still University. Leah holds her Pilates Certification from BASI Pilates.
Leah is so happy to be married for 13 years to Jason, an outstanding father and red-bearded yacht captain who also home brews amazing beer they call, Stew Brew! They are raising and homeschooling three wonderfully sweet and energetic boys, Turner, Bennett and Reed, and in August 2020 they welcomed their sweet baby girl, Bryce into the world.
Leah and her family live in Costa Mesa, California with their Australian Shepherd, Mika. It is there where they make big messes everyday in the garden, kitchen and the homeschool room as they learn, explore and enjoy their time together. They love to go camping in their little camper trailer as often as possible and are working toward buying land in West Virginia where they can build a little homestead of their own.
